Senior Data Analyst

At HAYS we are collaborating with a major company in the sector of lamp design and interior lighting founded in 1979. It has more than 100 employees and its headquarters are in Barcelona. Its mission is to create stylish environments, using lighting to provide effective solutions that have a positive impact on people´s lives. It aims to revolutionize lighting design, challenging its rules and proposing a new holistic and augmented vision that goes beyond light to integrate materiality, composition and the use of space.
They are currently looking for a Senior Data Analyst profile to join their team.
What will your duties be?
• Define the new Data platform working with the best technologies available.• Own the company Data Model, ensuring its consistency and assessing other product development teams in how to use it.• Capture informational requirements to create both the data lake and the models associated to it and evolve the current corporate dashboards to exploit the available information.• Drive the evolution of the platform defining how to apply Artificial Intelligence techniques from the large set of data generated in the company and from IoT sources.• Coordinate data platform development teams.• Build strong relationships with other product development teams.• Manage stakeholders´ expectations and requirements.• Apply agile methodologies and participate in continuous improvement team dynamics both from an agile and technical perspective which covers software and infrastructure.
What are the requirements?
• Degree in Engineering or Science.• 5+ years of experience in an analytical role analysing loads of data, defining and creating dashboards and creating insights from big data sets.• Excellent analytical skills applied to data models definition and conceptualization.• Experience with Microsoft Azure Data solutions and Microsoft PowerBI.• Ability to communicate ideas and solutions to stakeholders.• Good Spanish and English level required.
