As Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing statistical methods for the analysis of spatial genomics data. You will be using statistical and machine learning algorithms this role will develop tools to analyze spatial 3D genomic data and integrate it with other omics sources. On this position you will work closely with software engineers in the analytics team to deliver easy to use reporting tools to help researchers explore, visualize and interpret the results of their datasets.Responsibilities:

As Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing statistical methods for the analysis of spatial genomics data. - Develop data mining and machine learning methods to analyze patterns and segregate or group data.
- Analyze performance and optimize solutions to enable analysis of big data.
- Integrate different sources of information with spatial genomics data in statistical models to enrich the data reporting.
- Develop graphical tools using statistical data visualization libraries to analyze the results.
- Architect and implement new solutions and validate new ideas by modifying existing solutions or developing new features.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Proficiency in statistical modeling and analysis.
- Proficiency in machine learning tools (TensorFlow, Keras, … ) and algorithms.
- Familiarity with data visualization libraries such as matplotlib, seaborn, pandas, etc.
- Advanced degree in Bioinformatics, Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science (M.S. or Ph.D.) D. (preferred) or Masters with 5 years of experience.
Additional desirable skills to have:
- Familiarity with C++
- Experience in R Programming
