We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist with open-minded personality, who can join our friendly environment and become a core contributor to our team of experts.
What Youll Do
- Conduct in-depth statistical analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and correlations in large datasets
- Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems and optimize decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define data science solutions
- Clean, preprocess, and transform data for analysis and model development
- Perform data visualization to communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Implement and fine-tune statistical models, such as regression, clustering, and classification
- Evaluate model performance, conduct A / B testing, and make recommendations for model improvements
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, statistics, and machine learning
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on statistical analysis and Python programming
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of data science best practices within the organization
What You Have
- Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist with a strong focus on statistics and Python
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and libraries (e.g., Python, R, SciPy, NumPy, pandas)
- Expertise in machine learning algorithms and model development
- Strong programming skills in Python and the ability to write clean, efficient code
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Good communication skills in English, essential for our diverse and international team
- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) is a plus
Nice to have
- Experience with Agile methodology and its application to data analytics workflows
- Familiarity with data extraction techniques from Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery
- Proficiency in Tableau for data visualisation
- Independent and proactive work style, with a collaborative spirit suitable for a multinational team
