Working as a Service Project Specialist, you will be the engineering support person for various automation engineering projects in paper industries in Cheonan, South Korea, providing technical details, costs and deliverables for sales proposals.
Your responsibilities
- Conduct analysis of plan versus actual project performance under the supervision of the Project Manager or Project Planning & Controls Manager
- Prepare materials for and assists in project reviews
- Updates project adjustments, approved by the Project Manager and Controller, in SAP or other Project Controls systems
- Monitors, controls, and releases requests for invoicing, based on instructions from the Project Manager
- Effectively communicates appropriate information to mostly internal project stakeholders
- Controls documentation accuracy and consistency based on tasks assigned by Project Manager or Project Documentation Specialist and procedures agreed with the customer
- Works with the project manager and customer to ensure on time and on budget delivery
- Works with account team to optimize the delivery of the solution
- Works with the customer to expand the scope of the project and ensure that after project services are recommended
- Reviews project plans and ensure that site safety concerns are identified and addressed prior to commencement of the project
Your background
- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic, automation control or Radiation-related would be preferred
- Must have SRI (Senior Radioactive Isotope Handler) license
- 1 - 3 years of experience in Paper industry, working as project engineer with automation relevant products, Drives or technologies
- Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes and tools, including Basic Electrical and electronic technologies
- A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines
- A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
- Intermediate English or higher write and speaking, native in Korean
- Willingness and possibilities to business travel (<50%)
