About the role :
The iOS Developer is a key member of our team to develop the next generation of Gartner's mobile applications. The team will work closely with designers, project managers, and business partners to develop and maintain world-class iPhone and iPad mobile apps that delight our customers and contribute to Gartner's continued growth.
What you'll Do :
Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform, using Swift for internal and external clients.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability with a goal to achieve 85% automation.
Work on bug fixes and continuously improve application performance.
Building proof concepts using modern technology stack and participate in internal Hackathons to generate and work on creative ideas.
Working in cross-regional agile teams with engineers from India, Barcelona and US
Working in the Reliability Engineering team with focus on Reliability and Operational Excellence.
Will travel to EMEA, America and APAC region to support the destination conferences.
Will Interact with internal business stakeholders and external clients.
What you'll Need :
Strong IT professional with 3+ years of experience in software development using Swift for iOS.
Involvement in all phases of the software development life cycle
Strong notion of security best practices.
The candidate should have strong quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills along with high ownership and accountability.
Must have skills :
BS / MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
Strong understanding of multithreading.
3+ years of exp with fully-native iOS development, including having published one or more apps in the App Store that use client-server interactions.
Deep familiarity with Swift and XCode.
Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
Good knowledge in databases like SQLite, Core Data.
Prefer to have fluent English and Spanish speaking skills.
Good to have skills :
Substantial experience working with frameworks such as Locations. Experience with third-party libraries and APIs, such as Alamofire, Moya, Kingfisher, Realm.
Swift UI.
Knowledge in Objective C.
Experience in Unit Testing.
