Mission
Portfolio Management has the accountability for the profit and losses (P&L) of the assets, they are in charge of economical performance in direct collaboration with the operations and energy management departments. Asset Management Department is responsible for the contract and stakeholder management (both internal and external), compliance and business plan monitoring of a portfolio of renewable energy assets, mainly wind, solar and hydro. It ensures that current and future portfolio activity is in line with the business plan while contractual obligations are fulfilled and regulatory & HSE compliance is maintained. Asset Management, jointly with Fleet Performance and Commercial Performance Departments, will also perform analysis to identify performance improvement opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Implements best practice asset management in the portfolio, working closely with other teams across RGBU Europe, RGBU Spain and T&G Spain (Support Functions).
- Provides with accurate and timely reporting of the Asset Portfolio.
- Builds, leads, and monitors Business plans, budgets, capital projects and other initiatives on existing assets.
- Ensures compliance across the portfolio with project contracts, HSE, regulation and internal policies.
- Works closely with Business Development & Strategy to validate and feed technical and commercial input into Green Field and M&A processes.
- Manages the different stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure the business continuity in Assets and Special Purpose Vehicles participated by ENGIE.
- Collaborate with O&M in the day to day works on the Assets.
- Represents and defends ENGIE’s interest vis à vis external stakeholders.
Requirements
Ingeniero Industrial, de Minas, Ingeniero de la Energía (MASTER)
- At least 5 years on renewable market, with experience in coordination and management of administrative and permitting processes. Experience in asset management would be advisable but not critical.
- Wind, PV and Hydro technologies as a plus
- Spanish Power Market Regulation and Structure as a plus
- Candidates must be able to understand Profit & Loss Statements and other basic financial terms as CAPEX, OPEX, Internal Return Rates…
- Contract Management
- English C1
- French (as a plus) B2/c1
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Power Point (as a plus)
- Professional experience in multicultural environments is a plus.
