What are we looking for?
We’re looking for a data visualisation specialist to join our Client Insights team as an Analyst Developer. We’re looking for someone who possesses the experience of designing and delivering powerful, elegant and scalable data products as part of team who pride themselves on quality delivery principles.

Key Responsibilities :
- Responsible for delivering and promoting all aspects of data visualisation from requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, building and testing of solutions within the team.
- Responsible for managing your own work, estimating size and complexity and determining appropriate design,
- We’re looking for someone who leads by example, delivering Better Products Faster.
- The team Within Client Technology, we partner with users to design, create and deliver the technology needed to support our analytics (Descriptive & Predictive) to maximise the opportunities for our Sales, Marketing and Client Service teams to deliver a best-in-class experience.
- Bringing to life internal and external data in elegant products, we endeavour to enrich each interaction and support our teams decision making
Mandatory skills :
- Strong Data visualisation experience preferably in a large enterprise environment
- Extensive experience of data visualization and modelling in PowerBI, utilising a range of in-built and custom capabilities
- An understanding of data engineering and common data transformation methodologies
- Experience low code app development in PowerPlatform (PowerApps / PowerAutomate)
- Testing experience, knowing how to test data pipelines and transformations, with a shift-left mentality
- Strong SQL skills, with experience optimizing queries and reporting views for data products
- Able to work in a modern software engineering environment using Agile and DevOps methodologies and tools including Scrum, git and CI / CD
- Knowledge and experience of best practices for deployment of apps and dashboards
- Knowledge and experience working with an emphasis on security and access provisioning
- Able to deal credibly with business and technical users at all levels of the organisation
- Experience of working with global colleagues and stakeholders and sensitivity to cultural differences, time zones etc.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help
- Experience collaborating with team members within a highly performant development team
- Experience integrating data from different systems would be beneficial
- Data modelling beneficial with appreciation of data warehouse techniques
- Software engineering experience using proven patterns and practices
- Experience of a range of data visualization tools (Tableau / PowerBI)
- Experience of data virtualisation, warehouse tools (Denodo / Snowflake)
