About this opportunity
As a Data Analyst Intern you will deliver standard and new measures / analysis, translate business requirements into analytics, identify new measures / improvements, maintain / upgrade existing measure / analysis, create / maintain sophisticated visualization and perform analytics leadership.
You’ll get the opportunity to
Data modeling and advance analytics :
Drive and evaluate predictive data modeling via Machine Learning, AI, and emerging technologies for data analytics, reporting and visualization,
Include advance analytics and predictive analysis in stakeholder deliveries and processes to support fact-based decision making, facilitate follow-up on EHS progress and accurate predictability.
Produce optimized EHS reports and analysis :
Facilitate collection of data input, business insights and commentary from relevant stakeholders,
Drive alignment to EHS reporting strategy (global and local platforms) for increased reporting efficiency.
Reporting portfolio and digital solutions :
Manage design, development and deployment of reporting and analytics portfolio across available local and global digital solutions,
Ensure that all applicable compliance / IS / Quality processes are adhered to in all the deliveries,
Work to ensure re-usability and scalability in proposed solutions.
Enable self-serivce analytics :
Drive Self-Service analytics in the EHS community and for stakeholders,
Support CU with upskilling and standard process sharing.
Data quality :
Assure good quality reporting and information availability,
Integrate data quality procedures,
Identify exceptions and outliers leading to data quality issues in the source data, including root cause analysis,
Communicate findings and suggest solutions to relevant responsible party.
Process and architecture improvements :
Support process improvements by enabling efficiencies and enhancements in the reporting and analytics portfolio (both global and local).
Drive need for enhancements, enrichments and lead the unit specific local dimensions in tool portfolio. Strive to reduce data footprint by using source system capabilities.
Key skills
Student in Engineering (Telecommunications, Electronic, IT, Mathematics or similar),
Experience in Data Analytics is desirable : data collection, transformation, analysis and presentation to support initial hypothesis or as problem solving analysis,
Excel / Access knowledge, including VBA programming (to run / develop custom reports),
Tableau, PowerBI or any other visualization tool,
Problem solving skills,
Excellent presentation (PowerPoint) and communication skills,
Interested in new telco technologies and advanced application,
Attitude to work in cross-functional teams,
Proficient in English.
Nice to have :
Telecommunication knowledge,
Programming languages (e.g. C#, .NET, Java etc.),
New wave programming for machine learning - like Python.
