As a freelance 3D designerat Destinus, you will translate concepts and technicalspecifications into high-quality 3D models.
A combination ofartistic creativity and technical skills is required for this role.Working independently and meeting project deadlines is critical tosucceeding in this freelance position.
Tasks
- Work with internalteams to understand project requirements and technicalspecifications.
- Create detailed and accurate3D models based on provided concepts, sketches, or technicaldrawings.
- Utilize industry-standard software(e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Blender) to produce high-quality 3Ddesigns.
- Ensure that 3D models meet technicalstandards and requirements, focusing on functionality andfeasibility.
- Provide input on designimprovements and enhancements, considering artistic and technicalaspects.
- Collaborate with cross-functionalteams, including engineers and project managers, to ensurealignment with project goals.
- Stay abreast ofindustry trends, tools, and technologies related to 3D design andtechnical advancements.
Requirements
- Fluency inEnglish is a requirement.
- Proven experience asa 3D designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating technical andcreative skills.
- Proficiency in 3D modelingsoftware such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Blender, etc.
- Technical knowledge of aerospace or related fields ishighly desirable.
- Previous experience inengineering is a plus.
- Strong attention todetail and accuracy in translating technical specifications into 3Dmodels.
- Ability to work independently and meetproject deadlines.
- Excellent communicationskills to communicate complex technical information tonon-technical stakeholders.
- Flexibility toadapt to changing project requirements and feedback.
