Responsible for all Front Office duties and staff. Areas of responsibility include Bell Staff, Valet Parking, Guest Services / Front Desk, Concierge, Reservations and Gift Shop in low season.
The department head directs and works with the Supervisor and employees to successfully execute all Front Office operations, including guest arrival and departure procedures.
Strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department.
Detailed Responsibilities Achieve and exceeds goals including performance goals, budget goals, team goals, etc. Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring the quality, standards and meeting the expectations of guests.
Supervises workload during shifts. Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work. Keep Front Office team focused on the critical components of operations to drive guest satisfaction and the desired financial results.
Observe and monitor workers' performance monthly to make sure that company rules and procedures are being followed. Conduct monthly department meetings and continually communicates a clear and consistent message regarding the Front Office performance.
Daily check for all no-show reservations and cancelation policies, deposits, and rate discrepancies Check cashiers in and out and verifies bank and deposits at the end of each shift.
Weekly monitoring of online channel (booking.com, Expedia, Prestigia, etc) and reporting to revenue management if any discrepancy Daily monitoring of rate changes and inventory room adjustments Verifies that accurate room status information is maintained and properly communicated.
Review and schedules staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met. Participate in the selection of Front Office personnel Evaluates the job performance for all Front Office employees.
Responsible to ensure reservations requests and manage reservation sales-related opportunities. Update group information.
Maintains, monitors, and prepare group requirements and relays information to appropriate personnel. Manage and provide training and work assignments to all Front Office personnel.
Enforce all cash-handling, check-cashing, and credit policies Prepare performance reports, revenue and occupancy forecasts every week for all departments Maximize room revenue and occupancy by reviewing status daily
