About the Role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Executive position to join our Sales and Marketing department in Jumeirah Port Sóller Hotel & Spa.
The main purpose and responsibilities of this role are:
Support the Marketing Manager in executing the annual Marketing plan
Support the Marketing Manager in the roll out of Head Office Dubai marketing team initiatives
Maintain effective business relations with both internal and external customers
Be an ambassador for Jumeirah Group and Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa
Live the brand and the Jumeirah Vision and Values
Main Duties:
The key duties of the Marketing and PR Executive will focus on promoting rooms, restaurants, spa, weddings and events at Jumeirah Port Soller and include:
Content management of Jumeirah.com/Mallorca, brochures and advertisements
Content management of TPIs, to ensure information (text and images) is current and accurate
Creation and distribution of eNewsletters to consumers and Jumeirah One members, including database management
Assist with third-party promotions, sales, marketing and PR opportunities including cross-selling for the on-site shops at the hotel
Raise brand awareness and make new suggestions and recommendations to the Marketing Manager
Support Marketing Manager on new content for the hotel’s social media plans
About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Qualifications
Degree or Equivalent in Marketing – Essential
Minimum 2 years marketing experience – Essential
Experience
- Experience in a 5-star hotel
Skills
Fluent in English and Spanish, both verbal and written
Ability to multi-task, managing a range of activities across online and offline avenues
A comprehensive understanding of the marketing & PR processes
Ability to quickly learn new systems
Tech savvy with strong attention to detail on a range of E-platforms
Creative thinker
Self-starter with high energy levels
