JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly experienced engineer to assist with the development of cloud-based services and blockchain applications.
In addition to contributing to the existing architecture, we need someone who can offer fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to ensure Tokeny has the most scalable architecture possible.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will work alongside the DevOps team to create the next generation of Tokenys infrastructure, ensuring it meets industry standards and remains robust.
You will have the opportunity to work on emerging and ever changing technologies (hybrid blockchain networks, emerging blockchain capabilities) and to participate in the creation of bigger ecosystems (ONCHAINID, DINO).
You should be well-versed in modern container-based, event-driven architectures and cloud architecture for SaaS product delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, design, and implement improvements to our existing architecture with a focus on scalability and security.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the DevOps team, promoting professional growth and best practices.
- Offer production and non-production support, addressing incidents, and ensuring system reliability and uptime.
- Contribute to the development of deployment strategies, automated testing, and continuous integration / delivery pipelines.
- Collaborate with development teams to provide feedback on system architecture and assist with optimizing application performance.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to share knowledge and best practices within the team.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in DevOps, cloud technologies, and related fields.
- Leverage your advanced knowledge of UNIX-based system management and network management to maintain system integrity and scalability.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERTISE
- 5+ years of post-academic experience in a software engineering role
- 5+ years working experience on a cloud infrastructure (ideally on AWS).Strong knowledge of AWS, Docker and Kubernetes.
Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Service is a plus.
- Knowledge of event-based and event-driven architecture.
- Knowledge of security best practices for architecture and development.
- Experience with continuous software integration and deployment
- Experience with CI pipelines and code quality assurance / security tools
- You are interested in finance and blockchain
- Fluent in English
NICE-TO-HAVE
- Youve worked with multiple cloud providers and managed in-house infrastructure
- Experience with migration from a cloud service provider to an in-house managed infrastructure
- Experience with SaaS to on-premise hosting migration.
- Software development experience in Node.js
