- Lead a team of international business development professionals and enable them to exceed their revenue goals in the Commercial Supply space
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies that align to those of our business unit partners
- Develop strategic plans for key customers, market segments, and the EMEA region to ensure long term growth and profitability of the Commercial Supply and OEM business
- Responsible for developing and implementing strategies to accelerate revenue in the diagnostic, life science and associated markets
- Negotiate multiyear, multimillion dollar OEM contracts with key customers in the life science tools, diagnostic, and applied market segments
- Develop and implement processes and standard methodologies across the organization including CRM, training, forecasting, planning, compensation, and sales process
- Facilitate complex, often global deals and projects between customers and our internal support organizations while acting as an internal champion to ensure proper execution
- Create the annual operating plan for the business development team and align the revenue targets and goals to the objectives of the EMEA BID organization
- Participate in the annual strategic planning process and work within the matrix to ensure effective implementation of the strategy
- Continue the culture of talent recruitment, development, and retention while maintaining the focus of exporting top talent across the enterprise
How will you get here?
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in any life science
- Advanced degree and / or MBA preferred
- Requires relevant commercial experience and experience leading high functioning commercial teams.
- Confirmed capability to develop sales strategy and translate strategy into a tactical plan that achieves and drives faster than market top line growth
- Experience leading a commercial organization with complex business model
- Shown development of major account relationships at top level (C-level, VPs and Directors) with life science, IVD, and therapeutic companies
- Strong personal character coupled with a driven focus on the customer, a broad business acumen and insightfulness, plus vital competencies essential to navigating sophisticated and dynamic market conditions.
- Willing to travel extensively up to 50%.
