We are looking for a strong Regional Crisis ManagementSenior Manager who will ensure a coordinated and managed response to incidents impacting Oracle’s people, assets and business enterprise.

This role will also provide crisis and incident mitigation, support business continuity exercises to cross functional partners and build relationships with senior crisis and risk stakeholders throughout the EMEA region.

The role will always have a pulse on Oracle’s regional safety and security issues and be accountable for direct collaboration and communication with stakeholder partners working with GPS partners to improve incident management and response protocols in the region.

You will leverage excellence in communication, technical / business analysis, problem solving and attention to detail to methodically resolve issues.

Technically, you will understand the full stack of the Crisis Management systems you support and are able to dig deep into the service to determine how to best mitigate business impact to safety and security incidents.

Further, you will drive improvements through the development of tools and engage partner teams to drive down incident counts, reduce severity of events and minimize Time to Mitigate.

You will help create a collaborative and trusted culture across all Oracle Crisis Management teams.

Responsibilities :

  • Reporting to the Global Head of Crisis Management, develops regional policy and strategy to manage significant events which affect the security, safety and welfare of Oracle employees regionally
  • Responsible for assisting in the implementation of global Crisis Management policy, plans and training to manage large-scale incidents and crises;

assists business units in the development and exercise of business resumption plans

  • Develops and implements Crisis Management policy, plans, training and exercises for the region
  • Assists business units in the development and exercising of Crisis Management plans
  • Develops strong and productive relationships with domestic and international first-responders, and emergency management teams, as well as private sector counterparts regionally
  • Accomplishes enterprise and department objectives by establishing action plans, timetables and outcome measurements, obtaining and allocating resources, reviewing progress, making mid-course corrections
  • Contributes to team effort by offering information and opinion as a member of a matrixed management environment; integrating objectives with other functions;

accomplishing special security projects as required by the business

  • Continue to enhance our standard operating procedure (SOP) and creating documented responses to incidents.
  • Communicate with professionalism and precision to internal stakeholders during high priority situations both written and spoken.
  • Implement Post Mortem reviews and After Action items.
  • Participate in the technological analysis related to the multiple Oracle Global Physical Security applications, operational and internal tools.
  • Identify and deploy durable solutions to the different complex challenges related to Oracle stakeholder priorities.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Background

  • Excellent interpersonal and coalition building skills with ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language. Team oriented
  • Must be willing to work non-standard work shift (though primary shift is daytime) including evenings, holidays and weekends as the situation dictates
  • Be able to travel internationally 25% of the time
  • College diploma or university degree in a related field or 3-5+ years equivalent work experience in crisis or incident management operations and business continuity.

Associate or Certified Business Continuity Professional certification or equivalent is highly preferred

  • Excellence in verbal and written communication (English language). Ability to communicate with all senior management levels (both technical and management) during critical events
  • Highly self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Experience with mass notification systems and / or incident management applications; experience managing real-life crisis response, recovery operations or incidents
  • Demonstrated track record of partnering and developing consensus within an organization climate of diverse operational activities
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate within all levels of an organization, including briefing executive management as well as operating teams
  • Excellent conceptual and critical thinking skills and sound judgment, with strategic orientation and ability to perform tactically, as required
