Job Purpose
The Senior Talent Management Specialist will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the performance and development programs throughout the global organization.
Reporting to the Global Talent Programs Partner, the incumbent will support the design and implementation of Talent Management initiatives that drive company values, increase employee engagement, and accelerate performance to deliver business results.
Talent programs include performance and goal management, talent review, succession planning and career development. The Senior Talent Management Specialist will also operate as the functional subject-matter expert of Talent Management technology.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the Performance and Goal Management processes, supporting the launch, communications, and training process, providing support to the HR Team, following up with the business on progress, and answering questions as necessary.
- In collaboration with the HR Leadership Team, HR Business Partners, and business leaders, coordinate the Talent Review and Succession Planning processes to focus on identifying high potentials and planning targeted development plans for key talent to build a robust internal talent pipeline for critical positions across the company.
- Evaluate, innovate and enhance all global Talent Management processes, tools and methodologies in order to optimize operational efficiencies.
- Support the Global Talent Programs Partner in measuring the success and business impact of talent initiatives by defining talent program success metrics, evaluating and documenting results, and assessing the quality and effectiveness of programs and practices.
- Build Talent Management capability across the HR function through coaching and training of HR team members . These efforts include developing communication campaigns, job aids, toolkits, as well as creating and facilitating training sessions.
- Act as the subject matter expert of the Talent Management / development modules in the HRIS and assists in the review, testing and implementation of HR system upgrades.
- Support the company’s transformation to a skills-based talent approach by developing and maintaining a skill-based job architecture and dynamic framework of career pathways .
- Partner with the Learning and Development Team to ensure alignment with corporate learning and development objectives ;
maintaining all initiatives intended to support, develop, coach, and accelerate the growth of the organization’s talent.
Key Qualifications & Attributes
- Requires a Bachelor’s (4 year) degree in a related field; Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, Industrial / Organizational Psychology, or related field of study.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience in a global organization with demonstrated expertise in Talent Management and development.
- Proficiency in Success Factors (or similar HRIS platform), Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to cultivate credible relationships with all levels in the organization by providing exceptional customer service, coaching, and consulting expertise.
- Must be fluent in English and have excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities, synthesizing information, and drawing conclusions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff. Ability to listen, learn, and add ideas to discussions.
- Must be detail oriented and organized, ability to meet deadlines, and handle sensitive, confidential information on a regular basis.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances.
- Ability to function independently and as a team player in a global, fast-paced environment.
