About the job
The Red Hat Product Security Development team is looking for a Software Developer to join us. In this role, you will focus on developing a web application that is being built above the existing PostgreSQL database. You will need to collaborate with other developers in the team (both front-end and back-end), and also with the product owner, scrum master, and other internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth and enterprise quality release. Successful applicants must reside in a country where Red Hat is registered to do business.

What you will do
Develop client-side web application features based on the specific requirements of our stakeholders
Collaborate on feature design with team members and stakeholders
Work in two week sprints following the Agile/Scrum process to deliver the required features
Write unit tests
Continuously improve development and testing practices
Committed to delivering valuable contributions to stakeholders by carefully analyzing their feedback and proactively enhancing features as needed
What you will bring
At least 2 years of practical experience using TypeScript, CSS, Git and GitHub
At least 1 year of practical experience with development in Vue.js 3, and ideally with Bootstrap 5 or older versions
Basic debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
Familiarity with secure development practices
Familiarity with testing methodologies and techniques
Practical experience with JIRA software
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
The following are considered a plus:
Familiarity with libraries: vee-validate 4, zod, vue-imask, scss
Programming skills in Python
Contributions to open source projects or publicly available code samples
Knowledge of Containers, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL or Red Hat OpenShift
