- Lead and mentor a team of Analytics Engineers, driving innovation and excellence in data engineering and analytics
- Develop a deep understanding of each game you are responsible for, providing you with the necessary context to make informed, game-specific decisions
- Oversee the development and maintenance of robust, scalable data models, ELT pipelines, and analytical tools
- Own game's data technical health, ensuring best practices and standards are of the highest level, technical products meet performance expectations and alignment with cross-game standards
- Contributing to cross-functional standards and governance groups and ensuring game-specific tracking is implemented with the highest level of accuracy and completeness
- Champion data quality, ensuring consistency and reliability across a wide array of data products
- Employ cutting-edge technologies like BigQuery, dbt, Looker, and Airflow.
- Collaborate with game product teams and other departments, focusing on enhancing product success and operational efficiency
What We’re Looking For
- A passion for solving complex data puzzles and translating business needs into robust analytics solutions
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of guiding and growing analytics teams
- Expertise in the modern data stack, including tools like BigQuery, Snowflake, dbt, Looker, Airflow, GitHub, and command line-based workflows
- Exceptional SQL skills and extensive experience in analytics or a related field
- A deep understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices
- An appreciation for both business context and technical excellence in solution development
- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset, taking pride in contributing to high-functioning teams
- A sense of fun at work additional skills in Ping Pong or Mario Kart are a bonus
