ABOUT POSITION : You would ensure the implementation of efficient agile methodologies, maintain a focused approach throughout development sprints, and organize robust support for our production environment.
As a leader you would foster an enhanced, energetic way of working, aligning the team’s efforts with the company’s strategic goals, and generating continuous feedback for improvement.
This position will be the central point for all developers and platform partners, driving a group dynamic that is collaborative, innovative, and results-driven with an emphasis on new tech.
You would work from Barcelona and report directly to the COO of Entravision Digital! IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL : Agile Leadership and Implementation : Champion the adoption of agile methodologies within the development team, ensuring best practices are integrated into all processes.
Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring a clear focus on delivering smaller, manageable functionalities.
Project Coordination and Oversight : Coordinate project activities, timelines, and resources, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring that project milestones are met and deliverables are completed on time and to specification.
Production Environment Management : Manage and support the production environment, coordinating with Tech operations for deployment and ongoing maintenance.
Ensure that any production issues are swiftly identified and resolved, minimizing downtime and impact on users. Communication and Team Collaboration : Facilitate effective communication within the development team and across departments.
Encourage a culture of open communication, collaboration, and continuous learning. Ensure end-user communication is clear and delivered on time.
Process Improvement and Methodology Optimization : Regularly review and optimize development processes and methodologies to enhance team efficiency and product quality.
Implement innovative tools and techniques to streamline workflows and improve team productivity. Team Leadership and Development : Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software developers and Project managers.
Identify training needs and opportunities to grow team capabilities in alignment with industry trends and company objectives.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting : Track team performance against goals, providing regular updates to senior management and developing a feedback loop.
Utilize metrics and analytics to guide decision-making and report on project progress. Stakeholder Engagement : Act as the main point of contact for all stakeholders regarding project status, dependencies, and potential risks.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for development initiatives. Optimisation of Current Tech and Implementation of New Tech : Enhance the efficiency of current technological assets and integrate innovative technological resources, with a key focus on AI.
ABOUT YOU : You have 10-12 years proven experience in Project Management / Product Management / Technology Management, or similar positions.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management , or a related field. Proven experience of 5-7 years in a leadership role within a software development and / or Tech Project Management environment.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and tools . Excellent Project Management skills, with a track record of leading complex projects to successful completion.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and work effectively with diverse teams.
Familiarity with software development practices and technologies. PMP, Agile, Scrum Master, or similar certifications are a plus.
