To drive our business further, Worley is currently seeking an enthusiastic and experience Business Development Director for our team in Madrid.
As Business Development Director in our Outside sales team, you will provide Business Development leadership and direction in one or more sectors of industry where we operate.
The right candidate for this role understands business negotiations; recognizes and acts upon opportunities to promote the Company and Worley on expertise and successful past performance.
You will not be afraid of travelling, as part of the role will involve extensive travel to cultivate new and ongoing business endeavors.
The main responsibilities will include but not limited to :
- Responsible for accounts with major customers.
- Executes long term business and sales plans.
- Establishes and cultivates long term relationships with key customer officials.
- Understands and responds to potential customer needs and objectives.
- Gives leadership in the preparation of proposals and statements of qualifications.
- Forms joint venture agreements and negotiates terms.
Qualifications
- Manages multiple functional disciplines
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects through others; Works frequently with executive management on significant matters influencing the organization’s business results, which typically include global strategies
- Ability to visualize and oversee the design of new concepts and ideas related to the broader organization as well as functional area of expertise
- Broad knowledge of business operations and ability to implement and lead organizational change effectively; Solutions are derived from interpreted and applied general information and consultation with other individuals.
- The ability to effectively communicate and present complex program proposals and reports to executive level management and / or the Board is critical.
