We are looking for a new Global Competence Manager for our Global Training Excellence department, a part of the Siemens Gamesa Global Training organization.
The Training Excellence department is based in Denmark, Spain, and India and develops training material across SGRE such as e-learning, in-class training, and virtual reality training.
Effects are delivered in partnership with our Technology and EQS branches as well as our Global Training Centers.
The role as Global Competence Manager includes strategic training portfolio management and project management of new global cost-efficient training solutions.
The Global Competence Manager will be leading diverse and multicultural project teams from initial project screening through Training Needs Analysis, development, and operationalization.
The Global Competence Manager will report to the Head of Training Excellence and be part of a truly global team with passionate award-winning colleagues in India, Spain, Denmark, Brazil, and the United States of America.
How to contribute to our vision
As a Competence Manager, your responsibilities will cover :
- Strategic portfolio management of safety and technical training products.
- Project management of new learning product package development.
- Stakeholder management across the Siemens Gamesa learning organization.
- Work with our team of Training Developers and Training Project Managers to conduct Training Needs Analysis and project management of individual learning products.
- End to end responsibility from initial specification of competencies required to assessment of operational impact, including framework integration, event coordination, and training execution.
What you need to make a difference
Besides a passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change, we are also looking for :
An experienced and detail-orientated project manager who can provide quality results within deadlines and are happy to work in a dynamic environment.
You should know how to plan and prioritize the given tasks within the project.
- A motivated, resilient, and responsible team player with excellent communication skills who can interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
- A person with experience and knowledge of creating and deploying training programs and portfolios.
- Someone with knowledge of basic technology so they can relate to the operational and technical environment that our target audience works in.
- A leader with a holistic overview who is able to work under pressure and delegate when needed.
The ideal candidate would have a technical or engineering background, but if you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
Flexibility and a curious mindset will be essential as the role of Global Competence Manager is a demanding position with a lot of ad hoc tasks.
It is also a big advantage if you thrive in a multi-cultural environment and are familiar with working in large organizations.
It is therefore important that you have excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
