Directs the development of company e-commerce marketing programs and overall website strategy to maximize the brand presentation, consumer experience and support the integrated internet marketing strategy for the company.

Manages the research, analysis, and monitoring of financial, technological and demographic factors, and designs marketing plans to capitalize on market opportunities.

Represents consumer, marketing, and merchandising point of view to identify new business / content opportunities and effectiveness of programs.

Works with the development team for implementation and testing of all new functions / features. Manages website strategy to optimize online and digital marketing tools and programs such as website customer interface, search optimization (paid and natural search), affiliate marketing, email marketing, online shopping channels, blogs and vlogs.

Forms online content partnerships, measures web usage / trends and manages vendor relationships. May direct advertising programs both online and offline.

Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

The role of Digital Marketing Management is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and managing the overall digital marketing strategy.

This is a people management role, responsible for managing, guiding, and developing digital marketers and / or other marketing roles within the team.

Key role and responsibilities :

  • Manage, guide, and develop digital marketing team(s) and / or other marketing roles within the team to achieve individual and team goals and objectives
  • Oversee the planning and execution of all digital marketing, including SEO / SEM, marketing database, email, and social media etc.
  • Ensure NTT’s social media presence is constantly relevant
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
  • Contribute to the brainstorming of new and creative growth strategies
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on digital marketing strategy and campaigns
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end client experience across multiple channels and client touch points
  • Collaborate with external agencies and other vendor partners as and when required
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
  • Drive knowledge and awareness of best practices and prevailing developments in web technologies, standards and requirements across the team
  • Promote continuous improvement and maximise exploitation of electronic media opportunities
  • Contribute towards the planning and implementation of overall intranet and website structure and design strategy
  • Analyse site information, including usage trends and statistics, undertake usability reviews and recommend aligned improvements
  • Oversee the development of supportive infrastructure such as standards, templates and directory structures for content creation and distribution
  • Oversee and contribute to the creation of paper mock-ups, HTML prototypes, design walk-throughs and draft user interface design documents
  • Ensure that the content developed and received by web designers meets writing for web and NTT guidelines and intranet style
  • Ensure the coordination and coherence of online projects with the overall marketing strategy and actions to promote the NTT brand

  • Solid understanding of web metrics, digital analytics, with the ability to generate, analyze and interpret data
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to lead and manage a team

Academic qualifications and certifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, marketing, communication, or relevant field
  • Proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Framemaker, DreamWeaver, HTML, HTML 5, CSS

Experience required :

  • Proven experience in digital marketing within a similar matrixed environment
  • Proven project management experience
  • Proven experience managing and leading a digital marketing team
  • Proven experience using with digital marketing software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Proven experience delivering effective and innovative digital marketing websites and campaigns
