We are currently looking for a Payroll Specialist for our office located in a very prominent location in Barcelona. This position is open to cover for a maternity leave, with high chances of turning into a permanent role.
Working in our Payroll Team based in Barcelona, you will report to the Payroll Manager, and will be a crucial asset for our plan of growing. You will use your outstanding customer service skills to communicate with the employees and management, providing them with accurate answers to their queries.

Overview of tasks:
Calculation of monthly payroll, as well as monthly taxes such social security (Siltra-Casia) and 111 form
Able to provide explanation about payslips to the employees
Registration/ deregistration of employees both in social security and in the payroll software (Summar)
Submission of exit documents and records to terminated employees (Certific@)
Administration and handling of long leave (e.g. maternity, sickness)
Data maintenance in payroll program (e.g. vacation consumption, address and personal changes, salary change)
Giving information on employee requests: employment/salary changes/ employment/salary
Forms for family allowance / maternity leave
Manage and register employment contracts(Contrat@)
Manage garnishments requests and payments
Support the rest of the People team
We are looking for:
Two years of experience in Payroll department
Experience with Spanish labor law
Proficiency in MS-Office (Especially Excel)
Good English skills will be a must
Knowledge Payroll system Summar (Navision)
Self-starting attitude and self-motivating
Very good systems and analytical skills
Client and service oriented
Organizational skills and time planning
Detail oriented
