Position purpose
Acts as HR specialist in HR Operations and Compensation&Benefits topics.
Contributes to the design and establishment of HR policies, tools,
process improvements and procedures for Bayer in the country group, working in line
with the framework defined by the Company.

Major tasks and responsibilities of position
Operations Portugal
- Manage the complete payroll process
- Track Payroll and Compensation legal requirements, to ensure compliance with internal and external
requirements and reporting needs.
- Take over and track of Time & Attendance tool.
- Act as point of contact to all employees and Public Administrations in relation to Payroll and time and
attendance topics through the established communication channels and tools.
Compensation &Benefits Iberia
- Collaborates with Rewards team in benchmarking activities and data analysis
- Assist in the annual STI and merit process
- Prepare communication materials to support employee understanding and
engagement with Bayer Portugal Comp& Ben practices.
- Manage the Pension Plans and BayShare Programs.
- Maintain and analyze HR KPI
- Assist in the mobility and international local hire process
Qualifications
- Preferably university degree or equivalent especially with the main focus on Human Resources
- More than 2-3 years of experience in administrating payroll (preferably in SAP).
- Strong knowledge of the Portuguese Law.
- Strong numerical and analytical competencies, attention to detail with proven ability to deliver work that is timely and accurate.
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Customer orientation and strong communication skills
- Good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
- Fluent in Portuguese and Spanish
- Experienced SAP and Excel user
- Advanced MS office knowlege and digital mindset
