IT administrator for server and desktop virtualization (m / f / d)
As an IT administrator for servers and desktop virtualization (m / f / d), you will support and develop our server infrastructure, among other things.
YOUR TASKS
- Support and further development of our server infrastructure
- Responsibility for the maintenance and further development of our VDI infrastructure
- Support and monitoring of company-wide data backup
- Management of the monitoring system
- Administration and further development of the M365 environment
- Administration of central software distribution and patch management
- In cooperation with 1st level support, you will work on optimizing client management
- Independent planning and coordination of projects
- Creation of system documentation and support for 1st level support through training and work instructions
- Supporting IT colleagues with projects and technical problems
YOUR PROFILE
- Professional experience in IT administration
- Experience in the administration and project planning of server and VDI systems
- You have sound experience in the following systems / topic areas :
- Microsoft server + client operating systems
- Microsoft Active Directory
- Microsoft Exchange
- Virtualization (VMware vSphere)
- VDI (ideally with VMware Horizon)
- File services (DFS, authorization concepts)
- Microsoft 365 (Teams, Office, Sharepoint)
- Scripting (e.g. PowerShell, batch)
- System and process documentation
- You work conscientiously and bindingly
- You enjoy creating system concepts
- Very good German and good English skills round off your profile
