We’re establishing three Legal Powerhouses in Bangalore, Mexico City and Barcelona, which will be an integral part of the Legal Function and provide defined, structured services to our other lawyers and to the wider business.

JOB PURPOSE

In Unilever International, As intrapreneurs, we introduce Unilever’s brands into white space geographies like Korea, Pacific Islands, Mongolia, and spearhead launches of iconic household brands like Dove, Lifebuoy, Sunlight, Fair & Lovely, TRESemme into big markets like U.S, China, Europe and SEAA.

As Unilever’s growth engine, we establish global white space businesses in key channels such as Health & Beauty, Discounters, E-Commerce and alternate channels such as travel retail, marketing to institutional partners like the United Nations, and seeding Unilever brands to overseas diaspora who crave for a taste of their familiar home brands.

Singapore is our global hub leading strategy, marketing thinking, seeding plans, and alignment with the global categories and supply chain.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

We build market positions in white spaces by identify new opportunities, developing, defining, negotiating and nurturing strong business relationships. We own the P&L end-to-end and partner with customers, distributors, our business groups, and cross-functional customer to deliver growth.

The Scope of this position is European and global Scope.

You’ll be fully responsible for identifying potential whitespace opportunities, collaborating with distributors and retailers to execute market entry for new brands and categories that deliver incremental turnover.

Your key responsibilities include…

  • Identifying and assessing new opportunities for growth across all Business Groups
  • Setting up collaboration with new and existing distributors and retailers across all channels
  • Agreeing on portfolio, pricing, and trade and marketing support plans
  • Coordinating and guiding your cross functional team, to deliver the stocks and execute the plan
  • Joint business planning and periodic connects and follow up with your customers
  • Present your results to internal stakeholders in the Business Groups and MSO’s

  • Unilever International’s world class cross functional team, consisting of: BG Marketing, Area Marketing, Supply Chain, finance, legal, customer service, Qualit, credit management
  • Unilever BG and MSO, often senior supporter’s of our shared business and results
  • Your customer’s team

  • A masters’ degree in a commercial discipline
