About the Role : The Gore Electronic team in EMEA is seeking an experienced Field Sales professional (f / m / d) in the European market to develop existing and new business opportunities for expanded PTFE-based products, with a key focus in applications for Sensors, Industrial Equipment Modules and other outdoor electronic applications.
You will grow that business by establishing strong relationships with key industry leaders by effectively partnering with global Sales & Marketing Associates in the Electronics Market to drive the market growth strategy in the sales territory.
This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations that are in European, preferably Germany.
Responsibilities :
- Identify and promote strategically aligned revenue growth opportunities in the sales territory
- Develop and execute the account strategy to achieve top line revenue forecast
- Proactively own and drive, review, and update key account plans with the account team
- Develop strong relationships at multiple levels within key accounts
- Identify new opportunities for our products in new programs and applications
- Consultative selling with technically oriented customers and bring the voice of the customer back to the business team
- Negotiate pricing and long-term contracts
- Development and attainment of sales forecast
- Regular, effective communication of customers’ unmet needs and market trends with the regional and global teams
- Provide basic technical support, with support from the Applications Engineer and Product Specialist
Required Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a technical selling environment
- Successful experience in developing new customers, applications, and opportunities
- Successful experience in selling to large accounts and experience in consultative technical selling
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Strong influencer by using excellent interpersonal skills to support both internal team and external customers
- Effective organizational skills and attention to details
- Strong verbal and written communications skills in English, any other language is an asset
- Willingness to travel up to 40%
