Reporting to the Head of Sales Europe, the candidate takes over the responsibility of developing the business in Spain and Portugal, ensuring a sustainable growth in a high-potential market.
He / she develops the KEY ACCOUNTs portfolio by a strong technology-driven approach, positioning him / herself as a high-quality solution provider, but also develop, animate and support a dealer network to ensure the qualitative coverage of the territory he / she is responsible for.
To succeed, he / she can rely on back office, engineering and customer services at the HQ in Gremsdorf, which whom he / she develops and maintain a proactive communication and cooperation.
Key responsibilities and tasks
- Responsible for the proactive business development (customers, order intake and sales) both of new and existing customers in the Spanish market.
- The consultative and technology-driven sale of products with guaranteed properties and high quality.
- Sustainable growth and development of the Spanish market, Key Accounts and Distributor base.
- Risk-and compliance conform based approach.
- Develop KEY ACCOUNTs.
- Develop sales of the new aluminium-based solutions.
- Develop the retail network acquiring new dealers in Spain and Portugal.
Search profile
- Technician or engineer Degree in mechanical engineering.
- Min. 5 years of experience as a successful sales engineer in a comparable industry such as machine and plant construction, drive technologies or capital goods for industrial applications needing a strong technical understanding and explanation (industrial technical solution sales involving gearboxes, hydraulics, or drive boxes ).
- A mechanical engineer with technical experience as pre-sales engineer or as project manager including client relationship, presenting motivation and ability for a sales position could fit.
- Knowledge of MS-Office, CRM and ERP systems (SAP).
- You build trust through technical credibility and convey the added value of products and solutions thanks to your understanding of complex technical issues as well as your explanation and pedagogy skills.
- Spanish and English languages mandatory.
- Knowledge of German and Portugues language preferable but not essential.
- Availability to travel around Spain and Portugal.
